Joe played with members from some of Canada's best home grown groups like the Mahones, Moist, Sarah Harmer and The Tragically Hip.

Joe's took his allergy seriously. His medication was typically close by, but a series of events added up to his death.

Anaphylaxis kills. Second chances don't exist with this life threatening allergy.
